Highlights
● Although the cost of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) is relatively high, it significantly extends the duration of maintenance treatment and therapeutic outcomes of acute leukemia patients.
● PICC placement can effectively relieve patients' anxiety, enhance treatment compliance, and increased overall satisfaction.
● Compared with peripheral indwelling needles, PICC reduces the incidence of venous - related complications, which is conducive to patients' recovery.
