Roland Eils is an internationally renowned computational biologist and research strategist who has held key leadership positions at major German research institutions, including the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and Heidelberg University. Dr. Powell’s primary Pulmonary Disease focus is on the research and treatment of lung nodules and cancer. Dr. Powell’s particular area of interest is on deconvoluting the biology and genomics of early stage lung adenocarcinoma, for which recent advances have modified the diagnosis and approach to these tumors.
