Professor Zhu, Ph.D. in Clinical Medicine and Postdoctoral Fellow in Public Administration, is Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, currently serving as Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Management at Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences (formerly Dean of the School of Nursing at Second Military Medical University).


Professor Zhu has led the Nursing program at Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences to receive approval as a Shanghai Municipal Model Experimental Teaching Center and be selected as both a national and municipal "First-Class Undergraduate Program" construction site. Under his leadership, the university was consecutively approved as the national training base for the “Health and Social Care” category of the WorldSkills Competition, hosted both municipal and national qualifiers, and successfully selected the first Chinese competitor to participate in the “Health and Social Care” event. The trainees he mentored went on to win bronze medals for China in the 46th (October 2022) and 47th (September 2024, France) WorldSkills Competitions — the first medals in this category for China, marking a breakthrough in both language and technical competencies.


As principal investigator, Professor Zhu has secured over 50 million RMB in funding for academic and research projects. He has published over 30 papers in SCI-indexed and core journals, edited more than 10 textbooks and monographs, and holds 8 approved patents. He also holds 17 academic and social positions.

Bonkhe Brian Dlamini, Lecturer at Emergency Medical Rescue College in Mbabane, Eswatini, primarily engaged in teaching and research in the fields of nursing informatics, public health, infectious disease prevention and control, and community health nursing. He obtained his Master of Science in Nursing from Chungnam National University in South Korea in 2022 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing Science (Midwifery & Community Health Nursing) from Eswatini Medical Christian University in Eswatini in 2018. Since 2021, he served as a Research Assistant at Chungnam National University Research Center in South Korea, contributing to the development of nursing informatics curricula and the writing of international conference papers. From 2023 onward, he has worked as a part-time lecturer at Eswatini Medical Christian University and currently holds a full-time lecturer position at Emergency Medical Rescue College in Mbabane, Eswatini, responsible for curriculum design, teaching, and research supervision. He has published a total of 5 papers in international journals such as Healthcare Informatics Research and Journal of Continuing Education in the Health Professions, covering topics including standardization of nursing informatics curricula, effectiveness of infectious disease training programs, and support for family caregivers of dementia patients.

Professor, Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Majmaah University, Saudi Arabia


Amoura S. M. Behairy is currently a Professor of Medical-Surgical Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Majmaah University in Saudi Arabia, and served as the Head of the Nursing Department at the Applied Medical Sciences College of Buraydah Private Colleges from September 2022 to May 2025. She has long been engaged in teaching, research, and administrative work in the field of medical-surgical nursing, with primary research interests including evidence-based nursing practice, nursing informatics, wound care, prevention of intravenous therapy complications, and occupational health of nursing professionals. She obtained her Doctorate in Medical-Surgical Nursing from Menoufia University in Egypt in 2006, a Master’s degree in Medical-Surgical Nursing from the same university in 1999, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Tanta University in 1993. Since 1995, she has held teaching and leadership positions ranging from assistant lecturer to professor at Menoufia University, Qassim University, Majmaah University, and Buraydah Private Colleges.


She has published 23 research papers, with recent studies as first or corresponding author in several peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Infection and Developing CountriesTanta Scientific Nursing Journal, and Assiut Scientific Nursing Journal, covering topics including early postoperative mobilization, dysphagia assessment, and the effectiveness of nursing informatics training programs. She currently serves as an Editorial Board member of the Clinical Pathology & Research Journal and has acted as a reviewer for journals including Acta Scientific Ophthalmology Journal and Advanced Nursing & Patient Care International Journal.


Furthermore, she holds significant roles in multiple academic and quality committees, including membership in the Scientific Research Ethical Committee, Chair of the Teaching and Learning Standard Committee, and membership in the Nursing Accreditation Project Supervisory Committee at Buraydah Private Colleges. She is also actively involved in long-term community health service and health education activities.

Jing Chen holds a Ph.D. degree and completed her postdoctoral research at Tongji University. She has long been committed to interdisciplinary research in digital health and human factors engineering, systematically exploring areas such as chronic disease management for the elderly, medical system usability, and health service design. Gradually, she has established her research direction centered on human factors reliability and digital health service design. 


Dr. Chen has published multiple papers in domestic and international academic journals and conferences, with research outcomes spanning nursing, human factors engineering, human-computer interaction, and other fields. She has presented her work at relevant academic conferences (e.g., IEA, HCII), demonstrating strong academic influence and development potential.


Dr. Chen actively participates in the development of academic organizations and communities. She currently serves as a member of the Internet+ Medical Care, Nursing, and Rehabilitation Branch of the Chinese Aging Well Association, and has acted as a core member or principal investigator for multiple national and provincial-level research projects.

Chief Superintendent Nurse, Director of the Nursing Department at Shanghai Children's Medical Center, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Shanghai, China


Nanping Shen is a Chief Superintendent Nurse and currently serves as the Director of the Nursing Department at Shanghai Children's Medical Center, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. She has held nursing management positions for nearly 20 years. Her areas of expertise include clinical nursing informatics, nursing education, and pediatric hematology/oncology nursing.

 

Nanping Shen has edited 6 textbooks and monographs, and has led research projects totaling over 1 million RMB in funding. She has published over 70 papers, including 6 JCR Q1-indexed SCI papers as first or corresponding author. She holds one authorized invention patent. Ms. Shen has received multiple honors, including the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Nursing Association, and both the Second and Third Prizes of the Science and Technology Award of the Shanghai Nursing Association. Cheng Yun once served as Deputy Director of the Nursing Department of Huashan Hospital Fudan University, Director of the Nursing Department of Huadong Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, and Senior Nursing Advisor at the School of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. She is now retired.


Her main research interests cover gerontological nursing and clinical nursing management. In recent years, she has published over 130 papers in core domestic and international journals as the first author or corresponding author, and supervised more than 30 postgraduate students majoring in nursing. In 2018, she was recognized as an "Outstanding Nursing Worker" by the Shanghai Nursing Association, and her project "Evidence-Based Clinical Nursing Quality Management Model for Nasogastric Feeding" received the Excellence Award of the National "Nursing Management Innovation Award" in 2018.

 

Currently, she serves as a member of the 28th Gerontological Nursing Committee of the Chinese Nursing Association, as well as an editorial board member of Journal of Nurses Training, Shanghai Medical & Pharmaceutical Journal, and Chinese Journal of Integrative Nursing.

Dr. Jing is currently a Research Fellow at the School of Nursing and Health Management, Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences, and serves as the Executive Director of the Shanghai Healthy Community Geriatric Nursing Research Center. She previously worked at the Institute of Translational Medicine, Shanghai University, and at the Institute of the Eastern Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital, Third Affiliated Hospital of Navel Medical University. Dr. Jing completed her postdoctoral training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She earned her Ph.D. from the Navel Medical University and her Master's degree from Soochow University.

 

Dr. Jing has published 27 SCI-indexed papers as corresponding/co-corresponding author in international academic journals such as ACS Nano, Science Bulletin, and Bioactive Materials. She has edited 4 monographs, filed 8 national invention patents (2 granted), and has served as Principal Investigator for two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and one project of the Natural Science Foundation of the Higher Education Institutions of Jiangsu Province, among others. Her academic affiliations include Standing Committee Member of the Geriatrics Branch of the China Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, Standing Director of the Translational Medicine Branch of the China Medical Association of Minorities, and Member of the Healthy Care Research and Innovation Professional Committee of the Shanghai Research Hospital Society.

Professor Zhou is a Doctoral Supervisor, the Director of the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of "Geriatric Long-term Care," and the Chief Expert of the Nursing Discipline at the Naval Medical University. She serves as the Convenor of the 8th Nursing Discipline Review Group of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, the Executive Deputy Director of the Shanghai Hospice and Palliative Care Development Research Alliance, and the Leader of the Shanghai Class I Peak Discipline in Nursing. She is the only nursing expert to be selected for both the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission’s Outstanding Academic Leader Program and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission’s Second Batch of Outstanding Academic Leaders Training Program in the health system. Additionally, she is the Editor-in-Chief of Military Nursing, a Peking University Core Journal. In 2021, she was ranked among the top 100 most influential Chinese nursing scholars by the Global Scholars Database and has been consistently recognized as a Top 1% Highly Cited Scholar.


Professor Zhou spearheaded the first Major Project of the National Social Science Fund and the first Military Project of the National Social Science Fund in the field of nursing. Focused on geriatric long-term care, she led the application for the first MOE Key Laboratory in the nursing discipline. She has presided over more than 20 research projects, including international collaborations, National Social Science Fund projects, and MOE industry-university-research cooperation projects. Her scholarly output includes over 300 Chinese and English articles and more than 20 patents. Furthermore, she has served as the Editor-in-Chief for over 20 specialized monographs and 20 textbooks, including the "13th Five-Year" and "14th Five-Year" National Planning Textbooks of the Ministry of Health, as well as various graduate and bilingual textbooks.

Dr. Wan earned her PhD from Chiang Mai University in Thailand and was a visiting scholar at Pennsylvania State University, funded by the China Scholarship Council, which provided her with a robust academic foundation and an international perspective. With over 30 years of experience in clinical nursing, nursing management, and nursing education, she has held various leadership positions in multiple Grade A tertiary hospitals. Her expertise is particularly distinguished in the fields of oncology nursing, nursing management, and scientific research.


Dr. Wan has spearheaded 30 research projects at the provincial, ministerial, and bureau levels, securing over 6 million RMB in funding. As a first or corresponding author, she has published more than 100 papers in core journals, including over 40 SCI-indexed articles with a cumulative Impact Factor of 116.3. Currently, she holds several prestigious academic appointments, including Review Expert for the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education, Review Expert for the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, and a member of the Oncology Professional Committee expert database of the Chinese Nursing Association. Additionally, she serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for the Australian SCI journal Contemporary Nurse and several domestic core nursing journals.

Dr. Shao is a Distinguished Expert of the 15th "Thousand Talents Plan" (National Recruitment Program of Global Experts) of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee. He currently serves as a Researcher at the School of Nursing and Health Management, Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences.


With an extensive background spanning clinical medicine, health insurance, and health policy research, Dr. Shao has long been dedicated to the fields of social security, endocrinology, and health management. He has held prestigious positions such as Chief Medical Officer and Medical Consultant at several leading international reinsurance companies and large-scale insurance institutions, blending profound industrial expertise with rigorous academic research.


Dr. Shao currently serves as a Council Member of the China Health Economics Association and an Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Health Economics. He holds significant academic influence in health economics, health insurance, and precision care.


In recent years, Dr. Shao has published numerous papers as the corresponding or first author in prominent SCI-indexed journals, such as BMC Health Serv Res and PLoS One, as well as in Chinese core journals . He has co-edited one scholarly monograph, holds two national invention patents, and has led or played a core role in several national and provincial-level research projects .

Professor Zou, a leading figure in perioperative medical devices and sepsis research, has been recognized through numerous prestigious talent programs, including the 10th Shanghai Youth Science and Technology Talents, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission's Outstanding Technical Leader Program, Shanghai Talent Development Fund, the Science and Technology Commission's Rising Star Program, the Education Commission's Morning Light Program, and the Health Commission's New Excellent Youth Program.

 

Professor Zou has led over 20 research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. With over 50 SCI papers published, Dr. Zou has received second-place award in various field, including from the military, the Shanghai government, and the Ministry of Education. He serves on several academic committees, including the Anesthesiology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association and the Shanghai Anesthesiology Society.

Chenyang Mu

Dr. Chen-Yang Mu specializes in interdisciplinary research bridging nursing science and basic medicine, with a focus on epigenetic regulation and metabolic mechanisms in cancer. She has published multiple SCI-indexed articles, with a cumulative impact factor of 58. Her work is dedicated to promoting deeper integration between nursing and biomedical sciences, aiming to expand the scope and impact of nursing research.

Wenwen Shi

Associate Professor, Naval Medical University, Shanghai, China


Professor Shi, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Nursing at the School of Nursing, Naval Medical University.

 

Professor Shi is recognized as an A-level Outstanding Instructor at the university. She is primarily responsible for teaching courses such as Critical Care Nursing and Field Nursing and serves as an instructor for the Basic Life Support (BLS) and National Disaster Life Support (NDLS) programs.

 

Professor Shi has led four provincial and ministerial-level research projects with cumulative funding exceeding 300,000 RMB.She has published 19 academic papers as the first author or corresponding author, including four SCI-indexed articles, with three additional SCI papers currently under review. She holds eight intellectual property rights, including invention patents, utility model patents, and software copyrights. Additionally, she is the associate editor of one nationally recognized outstanding popular science publication.

Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand


Surasak Treenai, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, is primarily engaged in teaching and research in the field of pediatric nursing. His research focuses on the care of children with chronic illnesses, the application of nursing theories, and therapeutic touch. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Science from Chulalongkorn University in 2014, a Master of Nursing Science (Pediatric) from the same university in 2002, and a Bachelor of Nursing Science from Thammasat University, Thailand in 1999. Since 2009, he has served as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, Chulalongkorn University. Prior to this, he worked as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing, Thammasat University from 2003 to 2009 and has clinical nursing experience.


He has published 6 research papers, including several as a co-author in SCOPUS-indexed journals such as the Journal of Health Research (2025) and Thai core journals like Nursing Journal (2022) and Journal of the Department of Medical Services (2021). His studies cover topics such as the experiences of adolescents with cancer returning to school, the experiences of caregivers of children with COVID-19, and health behavior interventions for children with chronic illnesses. In recent years, he has participated as a co-researcher in 3 research projects focusing on youth e-cigarette use, health behavior interventions for adolescents with type 1 diabetes, and the assessment of online service needs for smoking cessation.


Furthermore, he currently serves as the Secretary of the College of Advanced Practice Nurse and Midwife of Thailand, Nursing Council Thailand (2020–2022) and as the Secretary of the Advanced Pediatric Nursing Curriculum Committee, Nursing Council Thailand (2018–present), actively contributing to the development of professional standards and curriculum.

Yuzhen Xu

Director of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University, Taian, China


Dr. Xu is an Associate Chief Physician and Master's Supervisor. He holds a Ph.D. in Neurology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and completed his postdoctoral research at Tongji University. He currently serves as the Director of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University, with a primary focus on neurorehabilitation.


Dr. Xu has received multiple Science and Technology Progress Awards and has led 11 provincial and national-level research projects. He is currently conducting seven ongoing research projects. As first author or corresponding author, he has published 39 academic papers. He also serves on the editorial boards of PLOS ONE and BMC Medicine.

Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Nursing Science at Alex-Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo, Nigeria


Nelson Okpua, Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Nursing Science at Alex-Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo, Nigeria, primarily engages in public health, community and family nursing, nursing education, and health systems research. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Family and Community Nursing from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2023, a Master of Science (MSc) in Public Health from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge, United Kingdom in 2016, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing Science from Ebonyi State University Abakaliki, Nigeria in 2010. In research, he has published 13 papers, including several articles in international journals such as BMC Public Health, International Journal of Africa Nursing Sciences, and Journal of Communication in Healthcare, covering topics such as the impact of COVID-19, health system resilience, and stress and stigma among nursing professionals. He presently serves as an editor for The Nursing Scope and the International Journal of Urology and Nephrology.


Furthermore, Nelson Okpua currently serves as a member of the Programmes Accreditation Committee and the Academic Affiliation Committee at Alex-Ekwueme Federal University Ndufu-Alike Ikwo. He has been consistently appointed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and is also a member of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) and the Professional Association of Public Health Nursing Officers of Nigeria (PAPHNON).
